About Me

I spent ten years in graphic design and prepress before writing a line of code — where a misplaced pixel cost thousands of printed copies, not a QA ticket. Since then I've been building the interfaces rather than handing them over: React and TypeScript in front, WordPress underneath when a content team has to live in it.

Five years of study alongside work — Java, software engineering, algorithms and data structures at The Open University, plus nanodegrees in full-stack, AI, machine learning and deep learning.

Migrated five sites from static HTML to WordPress, built a custom theme framework and delivered a WooCommerce store handling 500+ orders a month.
2014 — 2016
Responsive, accessible front-end components for public-facing pages, built to specification under enterprise review and compliance processes.
2004 — 2011
